I’m a mother of 4 youngish sons who keep me inspired as much as they keep me exhausted! Among so many other things, I love my family, my friends, good coffee, lazy mornings and laughing ‘til my face is aching. I can cook, but don’t really love it...if a recipe has more than 4 ingredients it’s not likely to happen in my house! I love having a faith that keeps me going in the hard times, and brings me joy every day. 

Photography is not just my work, it’s my privilege to capture moments that would otherwise be fading memories.

It’s especially wonderful to capture the precious stages in the lives of children…to create something for them to share with their  family in future years, to giggle at, to talk about, to remember, or perhaps even to cry over.
We never know where life will take us…it’s a blessing to be able to record the journey.

While the formal "say cheese" style of portrait is lovely, there's something very special about capturing that unique expression on a childs face when they're not posing for the camera. The moment of wonder as a small child touches the soft petals of a daisy; the playful wrestling between siblings; the sheer delight of being tickled by Mum or Dad. These are the kind of images that will stir your soul and hold fascination for future generations!

I never get tired of hearing a parent say I've captured the personality of their children.....it's the greatest compliment I could wish for.

I also take enormous pleasure in stepping outside the box a little. The realm of digital art holds endless possibilities for something totally unique!
